Piriápolis seems like the Costa del Sol in Spain 75 years ago: a quaint village on
rocky slopes mingling with white sands, the waves lapping at your feet as you walk
on the beach. The boardwalk (Rambla in Uruguay) lined with sidewalk cafes and
grand old hotels from the early 1900s.
Even non-believers can appreciate a little positive energy cannot hurt. Sugar Loaf

spectacular access to the country’s two cosmopolitan cities Montevideo and Punta
del Este, as well as, both international airports. Piriápolis is 5 minutes from Sugar

Piriápolis was founded in 1890 by an eccentric visionary and alchemist named
Francisco Piria. Piria chose the site because of the earth’s special energies and
magnetic poles. Today Piriápolis and the surrounding area including Sugar Loaf are
famous for their positive energy points, drawing people from around the world to
engage in new age activities: meditation, yoga, and mystical tours.
